I think everyone has a different meaning to ‘healthy’. For me it means, to have a routine to follow and that routine should be beneficial. It also includes not punishing the body in the name of ’health’. We should be happy taking care of ourselves. 1. Healthy stress coping mechanisms- I think one of the major factors that is responsible for deteriorating health these days is stress. I understand that at times it is not in your hands whether or not to welcome stress. Practicing meditation and yoga are a few healthy ways of managing stress. This is going to help you tremendously in dealing with any kind of stress or tension. 2. Unhealthy lifestyle- we as a generation have undermined the importance of a good lifestyle. The late nights and early mornings, lack of sleep, eating packaged food, etc. Your body might be able to take all this in your early years i.e, in your twenties or thirties. But it has the potential to harm you later in life. 3. Good Sleep- Our body works for us the entire day. Don’t you think it is justified that it needs at 7-8 hours of good sleep? People will sleep for just 3-4 hours, don’t bother to give the brain and body the rest it needs, and then complain about being tired and fatigued. During those 7-8 hours of sleep, our body heals.
